Representatives of the National Insurance Company participated in the first meeting held at the headquarters of the Insurance Bureau to discuss the adoption of the insurance policy against cyber risks on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the presence of a representative of the Central Bank of Iraq and the Iraqi Insurance Company, in addition to representatives of the Iraqi Insurance Association and Al-Hamra Insurance Company. The meeting witnessed intensive and extensive discussions on the details of the cyber risk insurance policy, which is being put forward for the first time in Iraq in line with the development in the field of information, communications and data technology and the associated challenges related to cybersecurity.
