Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wadah Amer Hatem Al-Tamimi / President of the Middle Technical University and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ayad Khalaf Mohammed / Dean of the Institute of Technical Management, the Department of Insurance Management Techniques at the Technical Institute, in cooperation with the National Insurance Company, organized a face-to-face workshop entitled: (The role of artificial intelligence in the development of the insurance sector) presented by Ms. Abeer Abdulstar (Manager of the car insurance branch) and Mr. Azer Iyad Mahdi (head of producers of the National Insurance Company/Baghdad branch) on Wednesday, 21/5/2025 The workshop was attended by the Head of the Department of Insurance Management Technologies and a group of teachers, associates and students of the Institute. The workshop aims to explore the enormous potential of artificial intelligence in improving and developing the insurance sector by enhancing operational efficiency, improving customer experience and achieving greater accuracy in risk assessment and decision-making. It also aims to build a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities provided by artificial intelligence for various aspects of insurance.
