National Insurance Company covering Badra oil field
The National Insurance Company wins the tender to insure the Badra oil field. An expanded meeting was held on May 27-29, 2024 at Gazprom’s headquarters in Dubai/United Arab Emirates, which included both Gazprom, the operator of the Badra oil field, and reinsurers. Technical matters related to the insurance aspect and the issuance of the document for the project were discussed. On the sidelines of the meeting, another meeting was held with the Russian Lukoil Company, operator of the West Qurna 2 oil field, to discuss the project’s settlements for previous years and develop a future plan for the project’s subsequent work.
